Uniform is compulsory for all students. It can be purchased online through Threads at threadsme.com, and Threads has a store located on the ground floor (G09) of the Times Square Centre, off Sheikh Zayed Road; orders can also be placed by fax to 04 340 9638 or bought directly from the Threads store. The PE kit is also required and is supplied by Surridge, with online ordering and a 48-hour delivery window.
The college provides an on-site canteen with both indoor and shaded outdoor eating areas surrounding a poolside setting. A daily catering service offers a selection of healthy snacks and hot meals for students.
There are four houses: Fihri (green), Majid (yellow), Gibran (blue), and Sina (red). Each student is a member of a House, with Year 13 House Captains and House Representatives coordinating College-wide events and year-group activities; regular House assemblies and inter-house competitions form part of the school calendar.
GEMS Education owns and governs Jumeirah College. A Local Advisory Board provides external accountability and guidance, comprising members from the JC community and beyond to support school leadership and ensure ongoing improvement.
