Special Educational Needs (SEN)

The Lycée Français International supports inclusive education and gives attention to Besoins Educatifs Particuliers, including High Intellectual Potential. KHDA expectations state that the presence of Besoins Educatifs Particuliers does not influence admission, but if needs could endanger students, a decision commission may be formed and additional enrollment conditions (e.g., modified hours, external follow-up, Learning Support Assistant) may be imposed. The school also provides differentiated pedagogical approaches to help each pupil master the required competencies and offers support for both students with difficulties and for those with High Intellectual Potential.

The policy is to be read alongside the Code of Conduct and policies on Behaviour, Cyber-Safety, Attendance and Health & Safety. Next review: January 2024.
