MAS follows an American-based curriculum aligned with the California Common Core for core academic subjects. The Science Department emphasizes debate and evidence-based inquiry, with students encouraged to design fair tests and support conclusions with data. The school provides academic support with a dedicated SEN department, offering in-class, small-group, and 1:1 remediation and extension as needed. Students participate in a range of curricular and educational activities, including field trips and other edutainment functions.
Art Department offers disciplines including drawing, painting, collage, clay, printmaking, graphic design, and textiles for students from KG1 to Grade 9. Two annual Student Art Exhibitions showcase selected artworks from the KG and Grades 1–9. The New Campus includes a music room and an art studio to support arts learning, and the school maintains an Art Gallery with student displays.
Arabic language instruction is provided in line with MOE guidance, and weekly Arabic assemblies are part of pastoral care. The MOE curriculum covers Islamic education, Arabic, UAE social studies, and related subjects. The school provides EAL support for students whose English is still developing to help them participate successfully in the English-language program.
Student Life includes a broad mix of curricular and edutainment activities, educational field trips, and Sports Activities/Extra Curricular opportunities. The campus features an Activities Building to house these programs, and facilities such as a music room and an art studio support extracurriculars beyond academics.
MAS has 15 community partnerships that support student engagement and outreach. The Student Support Services Department collaborates with families and teachers to provide inclusive education, mentoring and empowerment groups, and career days to connect students with professionals and communities.
Guidance and Counseling services include mentoring and empowerment groups, transition days, and a career day with professionals to provide real-world exposure. The program supports leadership development and personal growth as part of preparing students for future education and careers.
The PE Department aims to encourage a healthy, active lifestyle and to broaden students' physical potential through varied environments. Facilities include a swimming pool, playing field, football field, basketball court, volleyball court, and a multipurpose hall to support fitness and wellbeing. The campus also provides a music room and an art studio to nurture creativity and well-being.
