Nibras International School integrates Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) through its Wellbeing framework and TORCH values, emphasizing mental, emotional and physical health as a core part of learning. The Learning.First approach identifies Wellbeing as a Life Competency, focusing on interpersonal skills, collaboration and communication. A dedicated Student Support Team (SST) coordinates SEN, EAL and Gifted & Talented support using a graduated RTI model with universal classroom strategies, targeted small-group interventions, and individualized plans. The safeguarding and inclusion teams include a School Guidance Counselor for the Secondary school and Divisional Safeguard Leads for Elementary and Secondary to monitor student welfare and respond to concerns. Collaboration with families and KHDA guidance informs planning and review of support for students with diverse needs.
The school describes itself as fully inclusive, welcoming students of all abilities and backgrounds and providing support through the Inclusion Team for SEN, EAL and Gifted & Talented. Support is delivered via a graduated RTI model with universal classroom strategies, targeted small-group interventions, and individualized Education Plans (IEPs) where appropriate. Accommodations and modifications are arranged in partnership with families and teachers in line with KHDA guidance. The school does not publicly describe itself as a specialist SEN institution. The Inclusion Team addresses the needs of a range of learners through SEN, EAL and Gifted & Talented provisions.
English as an Additional Language (EAL) is supported by a comprehensive program delivered by a specialized EAL team with ongoing progress monitoring. The program provides tailored interventions addressing phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics, with progress tracked using the IPT English Proficiency Test. EAL support goes beyond academics, nurturing personal responsibility, self-discipline and independent learning, while fostering respectful conduct and social-emotional balance through collaboration among teachers, parents and peers. The school promotes multilingualism, enabling fluent English development while maintaining home languages, with Arabic from KG and French from Elementary School as additional languages. Arabic and French are offered as part of the school's language program.

The safeguarding team includes a School Guidance Counselor (Secondary), Divisional Safeguard Leads for Elementary and Secondary, and a Designated Safeguarding Lead. On-campus security measures include CCTV surveillance, controlled access points, visitor registrations and IDs. Medical support is available on-site via a full-time nurse and a DHA-licensed paediatrician. Regular lessons cover digital safety and online risk awareness within a secure digital environment.
