The school runs an Extra-curricular Programme (ECP) available to all students from Early Years 1 through Grade 12. Activities are organized by teachers, with parent volunteers and senior students actively participating. The programme includes academically oriented clubs such as Science/Math Club, Robotics, Computer Club and Chess. These activities extend learning beyond the classroom to develop inquiry, problem-solving and intellectual curiosity.
Raha runs a thriving Performing Arts programme with opportunities to audition and participate in theatre productions. Offerings include Raha Primary & Secondary Choirs, Raha Contemporary Choir, Raha Primary & Secondary Dance Ensembles, Improv Club, EY Dance, Play and Sing!, and EY/Primary/Secondary musical/drama productions. Visual and performing arts clubs include Sketch Club, Comic Creators, and the Raha Concert Band. Raha is a member of ISTA (International Schools Theatre Association) and AMIS (Association for Music in International Schools) to support the arts.
The programme includes Language, Mother Tongue and Culture Clubs. There are Arabic Calligraphy and Japanese Club, Indigenous Art and Cross-stitch. These activities support language development and cross-cultural understanding.
Sport is a major element of the Extra-curricular Programme, including Basketball, Football, Rugby, Badminton, Tennis, Netball, Swimming, Hockey, Cricket, Volleyball, and Fitness/Yoga/Zumba. In addition to sports, the programme includes clubs such as Yearbook Club and Arts and Craft Club. Externally Provided Activities (EPAs) are offered in partnership with external providers, including Tennis, Judo, Football, Swimming, Gymnastics, Ballet, Capoeira and Mad Science. Competitive Sports operate separately with try-outs and weekly training and fixtures in ADISSA.
The campus features an 8-lane 25-metre swimming pool and a double-size gym with an indoor running track. Two football pitches, science labs, and design studios support wellbeing and practical learning. ECP sessions run after school with timings: Early Years 1 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm; Early Years 2 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm; Grades 1–12 from 3:00pm to 4:00/4:40pm. Activities are organized by teachers with parent volunteers and senior students, and most activities are free.
Raha International School (RIS) is an IB Continuum school in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, part of the Taaleem education group. The Gardens Campus is Abu Dhabi's first IB Continuum school, and the nearby Khalifa City Campus offers state-of-the-art facilities.
