Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. The Admissions team provides initial answers and guides you through the next steps. An enquiry discusses your child's interests and alignment with Repton Al Barsha's programme.

2. Visit Us: Daily tours are offered at various times and are led by a member of the Admissions team. The visit lets you experience the campus and meet the School Leadership Team. You can ask questions during the visit.

3. Register for a Place: To register, complete the Registration Form shared by the Admissions team. Submit a copy of your child's passport and their latest school report indicating the year group. Year group placement aligns with KHDA guidelines for Academic Year 2026-27. After registration, you will be invited to bring your child for an assessment.

4. Assessments: Assessments are age-appropriate; younger children in the Early Years are assessed through observed play, while older children in Year 1 and above undergo formal evaluations in Reading, Mathematics, and English. Remote assessments are available for international applicants. Following the assessment, a decision is emailed within three working days.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Repton Al Barsha offers scholarships in Academic Excellence, Sport, Creative Arts, and Innovation for pupils entering Year 7, Year 10, and Year 12, and these scholarships remain in place for the duration of a pupil's time at the school. Internal candidates are nominated by teachers for these scholarships, and eligible pupils are automatically considered for Academic Excellence and related scholarships.

Sixth Form Scholarships for the 2025–26 cycle recognise academic excellence and are awarded to students who achieve GCSE grades 8–9 across all subjects; other factors include attendance and effort in Years 10 and 11. Applications must include a copy of the Year 11 report card, a handwritten 500-word essay titled “How would you contribute to Repton Al Barsha as an academic scholar?”, and must be submitted by Friday, 27 March 2026 via email to Mrs. Jan Williams at jwilliams@reptonalbarsha.org. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview or audition, and recipients receive a substantial fee discount.

Scholarship categories include Academic Excellence, Creative Arts, Sport, and Innovation, with application forms available for each (Sports Scholarship Application Form, Innovation Scholarship Application Form, Creative Arts Scholarship Application Form). Scholarships for entry into Year 7 and Year 10 are open to external candidates as well as internal ones, and are tenable for the duration of the pupil's time at the school.
