It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Repton Dubai opened in 2007 on the Nad Al Sheba 3 site as the UAE's first UK-branded international school, and is part of the Repton Family of Schools with a formal link to the Repton School in the United Kingdom (founded in 1557). In 2013, Foremarke Dubai opened in Al Barsha South (later renamed Repton Al Barsha), and a campus in Abu Dhabi; that year formal structures for overseas expansion were established with the Repton Family of Schools (RISL). Overseas Repton schools are owned by local investors under RISL's licensing arrangements, with profits remitted to the UK-based Repton School Trust to support capital projects and bursaries. In 2023, Cognita welcomed Repton UAE to its global network in a strategic partnership with Excella and Repton, reflecting broader international collaboration. KHDA DSIB inspections have rated Repton Dubai as Outstanding since 2014–2015.
Repton Dubai serves a multinational student community with students from more than 80 nationalities. The community participates in a broad program of cultural and charity events, including creativity festivals, art exhibitions, and Dubai Cares initiatives. Year 13 graduation ceremonies are a highlight, with media coverage and visits from notable figures. Pastoral care and a focus on global citizenship are emphasized across campuses.
Friends of Repton (FoR) is the parent and friends group for Repton Al Barsha, uniting families with the school through events. Each class has a Class Social Representative to coordinate class-level activities and strengthen the school community. FoR organizes coffee mornings and a programme of events that connect parents with school life. Parents receive regular information through an online parent portal and newsletters. Repton Al Barsha community activities extend beyond the campus, including TODA art exhibitions and Dubai Cares initiatives that involve parents and students. FoR and other parent activities contribute to a holistic Repton experience with volunteering and involvement in school life.
