Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. School Tour: Families are encouraged to visit SIS‑Al Bateen for a campus tour and to talk with admission staff. Appointments can be arranged by contacting the school administration. 2. Application and Required Documents: To enroll, submit the SABIS® Application Form and SABIS® Medical Form, four recent passport‑size photographs of the student on a white background, copies of the student's, father's, and mother's passports, copies of the student's, father's, and mother's Residency, copies of the student's, father's, and mother's UAE ID, a birth certificate attested and translated, the vaccination card, and a recent school report from the previous school showing the current grade and the grade promoted to, signed and stamped by the issuing school. 3. Document Attestation and Translation Requirements: If transferring from the home country, documents must be attested; UAE/GCC nationalities should provide a school transfer certificate stamped by the relevant ministry (if the child attends a KHDA‑registered school, a transfer certificate is not required). For other nationalities, a school transfer certificate or end‑of‑year report must be attested. Attestation involves the relevant ministry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the embassy of the issuing country in the UAE; alternatively, the embassy in the UAE and the UAE MOFA may attest documents. Translations must be in Arabic or English and, where necessary, translated by an official translator in the UAE. 4. Admission Decisions: Admission decisions are made after careful evaluation of the candidates. Results of diagnostic testing and previous school records are considered on a case‑by‑case basis. Additional criteria include motivation, social and emotional development, willingness to work hard, and the school's ability to accommodate the needs of the candidate. 5. Registration and Placement: Once accepted and the required fees are paid, a place for the student is reserved.
