Springdales was founded in 1955 in New Delhi by Rajni Kumar as a small kindergarten in the Kumar family home. The school grew into a multi‑campus group known for values‑based, progressive education with a strong emphasis on performing arts, internationalism and humanitarian ethos. Springdales opened its first overseas school in Dubai in 2013 as the Dubai campus of the Springdales Education Society. The Dubai campus is located in Al Quoz 4, next to Jumeirah University, and comprises separate kindergarten, primary and secondary complexes with facilities including science laboratories, a library and indoor courts. The Dubai campus operates as part of the Springdales Education Society, linking it to the long‑established Springdales network in India.
Springdales Dubai fosters a close‑knit school community with active parental involvement through Partners in Progress. The school hosts inclusive education events, such as the Embracing Inclusion event, with KHDA involvement and a focus on collaboration among students, staff and families. The campus participates in UAE Year of Sustainability initiatives and related creative activities that promote environmental responsibility. Community activities involve students, staff and families in learning and cultural initiatives.
Partners in Progress is the Springdales Dubai Parent‑Teacher Association. It functions as a parental forum that works in tandem with the school for the well‑being of children by voicing concerns, raising issues, providing suggestions and promoting dialogue. The group meets informally three times a year to share viewpoints on every aspect of schooling and to celebrate initiatives and developments. Partners in Progress also serves as a platform for the talents of parents to contribute to the various programmes of the school. The association aims to involve parents in nurturing Springdalians beyond the home, providing support, security, care and encouragement.
