Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Schedule a school tour and information session. Families are encouraged to visit the school for a tour of the campus and discussion with the admission staff.
2. Submit an application. You may apply online by filling in the Application Form or in person at the school by obtaining the application pack from the school reception desk. There is no application deadline, but it is recommended that the admission process be initiated early. Applications are accepted but place offers are granted based on spaces available throughout the school year. There is no “joining fee” on the first occasion of going through the admission process.
3. Submit required documents. The following documents are required: SABIS® Application Form, SABIS® Medical Form, SABIS® SDP Form, four passport-size photographs of the student on white background, copies of the student's passport, father's passport, and mother's passport, copies of residency, copy of the student's UAE ID, copy of the student's birth certificate attested and translated, copy of the student's vaccination card, and a recent school report.
4. Document attestation and translation requirements. Documents must be attested by the relevant ministry (e.g., Ministry of Education), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the UAE embassy in the issuing country, or stamped by the embassy of the issuing country in the UAE. Translations must be in Arabic or English and translated by an official translator in the UAE where necessary.
5. Interview / Diagnostic Tests. After the Admissions Office confirms that the application is complete, a date is set for the interview (Pre-KG to KG 2) or diagnostic test (Grade 1 and above).
6. Admission Decisions. Admission decisions are made after careful evaluation of the candidates. Results of diagnostic testing and previous school records are considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional criteria include motivation, social and emotional development, willingness to work hard, and the school's ability to accommodate the needs of the candidate.
7. Place reservation. Once accepted and the required fees are paid, a place for the student is reserved.
