Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
SZPAB supports Social and Emotional Learning through a daily homeroom where each student meets with a teacher to monitor personal, social and emotional development, and via an Inclusion Team comprising Learning Support teachers, assistants, school counselors and school nurses who provide targeted support and guidance; the school also fosters a culture of respect and tolerance through the Zayed Tolerance Pledge.
Learning Support is provided by the Inclusion Team based on assessed student needs to help those requiring additional assistance; SZPAB is not described as a specialist SEN institution.
The SZPAB Key Information page does not publicly disclose any English as an Additional Language (EAL) provisions.
Mental wellbeing is addressed through Health & Safety provisions, including daily homeroom monitoring of academic, social and emotional development and an Inclusion Team with counselors and nurses to support student wellbeing.
Safeguarding is central to the school's policies: all staff have a pastoral duty to protect children and safeguarding guidelines, including child protection provisions, are outlined in Health & Safety.
