Application / Registration Fees

- Registration fee (non-returnable): GBP 120 per child (inclusive of VAT).
- Acceptance deposit: GBP 2,750 payable on acceptance of a definite place. Billing schedule and payment terms

Refunds and withdrawal / cancellation terms

- General refund rule: save for legal liabilities or exceptional discretion by the Head/Principal, tuition and associated fees are not refunded, reduced or waived for absence due to illness, shortened terms, temporary school closure, remote provision or most other interruptions.
- Acceptance deposit and cancellation/withdrawal:
- If an offer and acceptance take place entirely at a distance and the Parents cancel within the 14‑day cancellation window, the Acceptance Deposit will be refunded and any fees for educational services provided will be pro‑rata refunded.
- If Parents cancel after that 14‑day window, providing at least one term's written notice will normally result in the school retaining only the Acceptance Deposit; providing less than one term's written notice normally requires payment of one term's fees in lieu of notice and the deposit will be retained. If a pupil is withdrawn after entry with at least one term's written notice the Acceptance Deposit will be refunded following settlement of outstanding sums. These notice rules determine whether the deposit is retained or repaid.
- Deposit on cancellation before entry: different rules apply where a place is cancelled in the term before entry; in many cases the Acceptance Deposit will be retained and a term's fees may be payable. Consult the school's terms for the precise application of these clauses.

Admissions
1. Entry points: Official entrance points are 3+, 4+, 7+ and 11+. Applications are welcomed at other times too, but subject to availability. 2. Little Broomwood and Reception registration: Little Broomwood is registered to join in September after the child's first birthday; places are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and offers are made in October. Reception is registered to join in September after the child's second birthday; places are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and offers are made in October. 3. Progression to Prep: Pupils are taught together from Little Broomwood through Year 2 and then automatically join the single-sex prep schools. Most children move on to Broomwood Prep – Girls or Broomwood Prep – Boys in Year 3, though preparation for entrance to other schools is also possible. 4. Prep entry, waiting list and priorities: Prep entry requires a Taster Morning/Assessment Day for external entrants and a reference from the current school; priority entrance is given to children attending Little Broomwood, siblings of existing pupils, children of Broomwood alumni, and children from Dukes nurseries. A Waiting List is activated for children not selected. 5. Open days and visits: Open Mornings and bespoke tours are available for prospective families.
