Uniform must consist of the following with no alternatives: KS1–KS2 boys wear a white shirt, navy blue V‑neck pullover with logo, and charcoal grey tailored trousers (shorts in summer); KS1–KS2 girls wear a white shirt, navy blue V‑neck pullover or cardigan with logo, and charcoal grey knee‑length pinafore or skirt (summer dress option: chequered blue and white). Plain black shoes are required. PE kit includes a yellow logo T‑shirt, navy shorts, black plimsolls for indoor use and trainers for outdoor use; a navy blue gym bag is required. Uniform items can be purchased from Brigade and Uniformbase, with some second‑hand items available.

Admissions

1. Apply for a Reception place. Peninsula East Primary Academy admits four-year-olds into Foundation Stage Two for the 2025/2026 academic year. Eligible children are those born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021. Applications are made online via Medway Council's online admissions system, with offers issued by Medway Council on behalf of the Governing Body. Parents may request that their child's start be deferred to a later point in the school year, but not beyond the end of the final term of the year of offer. The planned admission number is 30 pupils per class.
2. Oversubscription and offer. If applications exceed the PAN, places are offered in priority order: 1) Children in Public Care and Looked After Children (and those who were looked after, but subsequently adopted or subject to special guardianship or child arrangement orders); 1b) Children previously in Care outside England; 2) Current family association (a brother or sister in the academy at the time of entry); 3) Child's health reasons; 4) Nearness of home to the academy; 5) Children of staff employed by the academy. If ties occur within these criteria, random allocation decides. The offers are made in accordance with the oversubscription criteria, and the PAN is 30 per class.
3. Casual admissions. For in-year admissions download and complete the Casual Admissions Application Form; return by Royal Mail or scan and email to office@pepa.org.uk or deliver in person to the Academy office. All in-year admission enquiries should be addressed to Mrs Fenner or Mrs Dyke.
4. Waiting lists. If there are no spaces in the year group requested, download and complete the Waiting List Request Form and return by Royal Mail or scan and email to the Academy or deliver in person to Mrs Fenner or Mrs Dyke. A child's position on the waiting list is determined solely by the oversubscription criteria; when places become available, candidates on the waiting list are contacted in order.
5. Appeals. Parents have the right to appeal if a place is not offered; Appeals are handled in line with the School Admissions Appeals Code and the Governing Bodies policy on admission appeals; The Admission Appeal Form can be downloaded and submitted by Royal Mail or scanned and emailed to the Academy or delivered in person to Mrs Fenner or Mrs Dyke.

Waitlist

Waiting Lists. Where a year group is oversubscribed, a waiting list is kept. The Waiting List Request Form should be completed and returned to the Academy by Royal Mail or electronically. A child's position on the waiting list is determined solely by the oversubscription criteria.
