The Swedish School London follows the Swedish curriculum in a British context. Small teaching groups support individual learning. The school has a leadership group led by a Rector who oversees daily operations and the welfare of students. The team includes a Student Support and Operations Coordinator, a Preschool Coordinator, a Gymnasium Coordinator, and an Administrative Coordinator for the Gymnasium. The school is governed by The Swedish School Society in London, with a board including a Chair, a Vice Chair and Treasurer, and several other members who bring professional experience in education, governance, marketing, fundraising and legal matters.

Svenska Skolan London is an independent Swedish international school serving ages 2 to 18. It follows the Swedish national curriculum in a British context, with instruction in Swedish and some subjects in English. The school is operated by The Swedish School Society in London, a registered charity, and is supervised by OfSTED. Preschool (2–5), Grundskola (6–16) and Gymnasium are offered, with the sixth form housed at The National Archives site in Kew. The campus is based in Barnes and Kew: preschool and primary at 82 Lonsdale Road, Barnes, and the gymnasium at The National Archives, Bessant Drive, Kew. London is used as a living classroom, with the city's culture, history and society serving as learning resources. The bilingual environment supports language development in Swedish and English.
