Academic and Intellectual

The Swedish School London follows the Swedish curriculum in a British context. Small teaching groups support individual learning. Students achieve strong examination results, with 286 points and 52 points above the Swedish average on national assessments. Alumni have progressed to prestigious universities including Cambridge, St Andrews, LSE, Imperial College London, King's College London, Princeton, Sorbonne University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Stockholm School of Economics, KTH, Chalmers and Lund University.

Leadership and Professional

The school has a leadership group led by a Rector who oversees daily operations and the welfare of students. The team includes a Student Support and Operations Coordinator, a Preschool Coordinator, a Gymnasium Coordinator, and an Administrative Coordinator for the Gymnasium. The school is governed by The Swedish School Society in London, with a board including a Chair, a Vice Chair and Treasurer, and several other members who bring professional experience in education, governance, marketing, fundraising and legal matters.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The school sees the whole person and ensures a healthy, secure, well-balanced development. Our close-knit community and small classes help us know each student and support their personal growth. A welfare team works with staff to promote each child's physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing, including SEND support where needed.

Svenska Skolan London is an independent Swedish international school serving ages 2 to 18. It follows the Swedish national curriculum in a British context, with instruction in Swedish and some subjects in English.
