The school has a leadership group led by a Rector who oversees daily operations and the welfare of students. The team includes a Student Support and Operations Coordinator, a Preschool Coordinator, a Gymnasium Coordinator, and an Administrative Coordinator for the Gymnasium. The school is governed by The Swedish School Society in London, with a board including a Chair, a Vice Chair and Treasurer, and several other members who bring professional experience in education, governance, marketing, fundraising and legal matters.

Svenska Skolan London is an independent Swedish international school serving ages 2 to 18. It follows the Swedish national curriculum in a British context, with instruction in Swedish and some subjects in English. Preschool (2–5), Grundskola (6–16) and Gymnasium are offered, with the sixth form housed at The National Archives site in Kew.
