Travel is an integral part of TASIS England's education and experience. By extending learning beyond the campus, the program helps students develop important life skills and gain a first-hand perspective of the world. The trips draw on the cultural riches of Europe and are often the highlight of the year. Travel enhances academic studies with real-life experiences and fosters international mindedness and a global perspective.
The Arts are extensive at TASIS England, including Studio Arts, Theatre, Dance, Music, Photography, and Film. Lower and Middle Schools offer Arts classes with specialist teachers, while Upper School provides a broad range of courses and requires at least one Arts credit for the diploma. The School hosts many music recitals and concerts, theatre productions, and art and photography exhibitions during the year.
The school supports language and culture through immersive travel and culture-focused clubs. Upper School and Middle School travel weeks include language immersion opportunities, and trips are organized to complement language study. The Student-led Clubs program offers culture-focused groups such as Brazil Club, Peru Club, and Romanian Children's Relief Club, helping students explore global cultures.
The co-curricular program offers a wide range of after-school clubs and activities across all three school sections. The Lower School Club program provides social interaction and skill-building in a safe environment. Middle School offers a diverse mix of after-school clubs and intramural and recreational sports, while Upper School features student-led clubs and a varied program of activities, including long-term commitments such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Model United Nations.
