It began in 1983 as Mrs Roche's Coaching Establishment in West Kensington with five children, founded on the principle of offering a thorough education in a homely environment, with morning lessons followed by swimming, art, cultural excursions and ice-skating. In 1988 it moved to its current Wandsworth location and officially became The Roche School; Dr Roche joined the teaching staff, and excursions shifted to roller-skating. By 2022 the school had over 200 pupils aged 2 to 11 and introduced an optional Spanish immersive stream alongside the English curriculum, with History, Geography, Science, Religious Studies and Sport taught through Spanish for bilingual learners. The Roche School is located at 11 Frogmore, Wandsworth, London SW18 1HW.
