Admissions Process

Open to students from 10 participating Oakland County school districts. Students apply for entry starting in grade 9. Each campus (East, Okma, West) has its own registration process.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

As a tuition-free public school, no scholarships are necessary. National Merit recognition achieved by 18% of the senior class in 2018.

International Academy is a public, tuition-free magnet high school in Oakland County, Michigan, and the only all-IB public high school in North America. Serving grades 9 through 12 across three campuses, every student participates in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. Consistently ranked among the top public high schools in the United States.
