Application fees
- There is no general application fee to enroll in Ogden International as a neighborhood student. High‑school applicants apply through the district GoCPS system; GoCPS itself does not charge a standard application tuition. Certain specialized admissions processes that require in‑person testing or acceleration assessments may carry a separate testing fee (for example, typical selective/acceleration testing fees appear in district guidance at levels such as USD 50 for residents and higher fees for non‑residents when applicable).
Tuition fees (by year group and terms)
- K–12 tuition: Ogden International is a Chicago Public School (neighborhood school for elementary; choice program for high school). There is no tuition charge for Chicago resident students to attend Ogden as a public school.
- Annual required student materials/fees (per student):
- East Campus (K–4): USD 150 per student per school year.
- Jenner Campus (PreK and Grades 5–8): USD 150 per student per school year.
- West Campus (Grades 9–12): USD 200 per student per school year.
- Per‑term breakdown: these amounts are required annual student fees (one payment that covers the school year); they are not listed as quarterly or per‑term tuition amounts on the school's published fee schedule. The Local School Council reviews the student fee schedule each year.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- The student materials/technology/supply fee is billed on an annual basis (a required annual student fee). Payment is collected for the school year and is the cost listed above per campus. The Local School Council reviews the schedule annually.
- Online payment is available through the school's e‑pay payment portal (one‑time payment option and account login provided). The payment portal is processed via the school's payment processor. Parents may use the e‑pay link to submit the required student fee payment for the school year.
Boarding fees
- Not applicable. Ogden International is a public K–12 neighborhood/choice school and does not offer boarding or charge boarding fees.
Other costs and fees (uniforms, supplies, activities, etc.)
- School supply lists: families are expected to provide standard school supplies as listed on the school supply lists for each grade; supply lists are maintained and linked by grade level. Costs for these supplies vary by family choices and grade level.
- School merchandise / uniform options: Ogden operates a school shop for Ogden wear and spirit items; uniform/merchandise items are sold through the school shop and prices vary by item.
- Items explicitly covered by the required annual student fee include student materials and school supplies, instructional texts and consumables, student technology equipment and supplies, and expenses for school performances, events, and celebrations. Additional optional costs (for example, off‑campus field trips, optional extracurricular program fees, athletic event tickets or other optional purchases) may be charged separately; those optional charges are not included in the campus annual student fee.
Refund information and fee waivers
- Fee waivers: families have the right to request a waiver of the required student fee by completing the Family Information Income Form and submitting it to the main office at the student's Ogden campus; the school must send a response to a fee waiver request within 30 days.
- Refunds: no school‑level standard refund schedule for paid student fees is published on the school fee page. Refunds or reversals for payments made through the e‑pay portal are subject to the school's and the payment processor's payment and refund procedures; families should contact the school office or the payment portal support for specific refund requests and timelines. The e‑pay portal provides a one‑time payment option and an account login for online payments.
