Ogden International School of Chicago operates across three campuses in Chicago. East Campus serves grades K-4 and is located at 24 W. Walton St. Jenner Campus serves grades PreK and 5-8 at 1119 N. Cleveland Ave. West Campus serves grades 9-12 at 1250 W. Erie St. The school maintains garden spaces, called Ogden Gardens, across all campuses.
Ogden offers International Baccalaureate (IB) programming across its campuses. The MYP follows a PYP Exhibition, with students moving from the Primary Years Programme to the Middle Years Programme. Language study is integrated across campuses, with Spanish offered at East Campus and Jenner Campus, and Spanish and French available at West Campus, including IB language courses. Technology supports learning with digital classroom tools such as Google Classroom at East Campus. The IB philosophy emphasizes inquiry, inclusion, collaboration, growth, and global-mindedness in the curriculum.
Ogden Gardens are edible garden spaces across the three campuses: East Campus (K-4) at 24 W. Walton St; Jenner Campus (PK & 5-8) at 1119 N. Cleveland Ave; West Campus (9-12) at 1250 W. Erie St. Produce grown in the gardens is donated to school families in need of fresh vegetables. Ogden participates in CPS Eat What You Grow program, allowing students to harvest, wash, prepare, and eat edibles grown in the garden as part of the meal program. Gardening programming is supported by Friends of Ogden and other community partners.
The Ogden International School of Chicago is a public IB World School within the Chicago Public Schools system. It offers a continuous IB program from the Primary Years Programme (K–5) on East Campus, the Middle Years Programme (6–10) at Jenner Campus, and the Diploma Programme (11–12) at West Campus, serving students from ages 3 to 18. English is the primary instructional language, with Spanish available at East and Jenner and both Spanish and French offered at West, alongside Mandarin at the PYP level. A Language Policy provides mother-tongue support and bidirectional language development, with eighth graders able to switch Language Acquisition between French and Spanish when advancing. Honors courses begin in 6th grade across core subjects. The school operates campuses with Ogden Gardens—edible gardens that donate produce to families and participate in CPS Eat What You Grow. Extracurriculars include arts, languages, service, and sports, with emphasis on inquiry and collaboration.
