Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Complete the TIS Application Form and Checklist. Applications must be submitted in English via the online system OpenApply by the parent/guardian. Each application requires accurate data, supporting documentation, and a non-refundable application fee of $100 USD per application. Required uploads include a current photo of the applicant, a copy of the applicant's passport ID page, copies of each parent's passport ID page, a confidential teacher questionnaire, the past three years of school reports (starting from Grade 3), a parent questionnaire for Early Learning Center or Elementary, and the student transcript for Grade 10-12; all documents must be in English or translated. If a student has special learning needs, additional information may be requested. 2. Application Review. The main teaching language is English, with English Language Learning (ELL) support from Grades 1–8; fluent English is required for high school applicants (Grades 9–12). Applications are evaluated on academic standing, potential learning support needs, possible language support (ELL), and behavior. Admission priority follows categories: Category 1 – continuing students with families in good financial standing and intent to return; Category 2 – dependent children of founding member organisations or embassies listed; Category 3 – dependent children of other embassies with an established presence in Tashkent; Category 4 – dependent children of expatriate staff. If a waitpool is necessary, qualified applicants are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, including Host Country Nationals. Denial may occur if behavior, academics, English proficiency, or learning needs cannot be adequately supported. 3. Admissions Decision. If successful, a formal offer is sent by email from the Admissions Office. To enroll, parents complete the Enrollment Confirmation form, verify/update contact information, sign a contract covering Terms and Conditions, and provide health information and emergency contacts. The business office then invoices tuition/fees for the first term, due before the student's first day. 4. Interview, Orientation, and First Days. Parents receive a personalized interview for their child(ren) and orientations or Open Days are held before the school year begins. If a student starts mid-year, the school provides tailored orientation and buddy/ambassador support. Progress and orientation are monitored throughout the year to support the student and their family.

Waitlist

Waitpool admissions apply if there are more eligible applicants than places. Qualified applicants are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, including Host Country Nationals.
