The school provides after-school academic enrichment through co-curricular activities. Students participate in Model United Nations (MUN), the CEESA Math Competition, and the Scholars Cup to develop research, debate, and problem-solving skills. Lego Robotics and SAT-prep tutoring support hands-on STEM learning and readiness for assessments.
Arts and creative activities are offered through a wide range of after-school clubs. Students participate in music programs including PYP Orchestra (Intro and Advance) and Secondary Choir, and in music-based clubs such as MS Rock Band. Visual arts clubs cover drawing, beading, cross-stitching, knitting, weaving, ceramics, and theatre through Drama Production.
Russian Language Club offers after-school language practice for students in grades 6–10. The Owl Newspaper Club provides a publication platform for the Korean community at TIS. The Owl Council is an elementary student leadership group that fosters teamwork and community projects.
Cheerleading is offered as an elementary team, promoting school spirit. Run Club and CrossFit/Circuit Training provide fitness-focused activities for students. JUMP Comics, 3D Letters, weaving, and photography clubs offer opportunities for creative expression and hobby-based engagement.
4 Paws Club is a charity club focusing on supporting a local dog shelter. UNICEF Club promotes child rights and fundraising for charities. The Service Learning Council coordinates service-learning activities and has organized initiatives such as a Hackathon, linking CAS with school service projects.
Elementary Student Leadership provides opportunities for Grades 3–5 to lead school and community initiatives. Secondary Student Council comprises six sub-councils: Middle School StuCo, High School StuCo, Catering Council, Co-Curricular Council, Tech Council, and Service Learning Council.
TIS Athletics offers a comprehensive program with two gymnasiums, multiple courts and fields, and a fitness studio. The school operates three sports seasons—Fall, Winter, and Spring—with activities such as volleyball, football, basketball, cross country, and track and field. TIS participates in international competitions through CAFA and CEESA, and hosts local competitions and a recreational program for non-competitive activities. Adventure Program provides Mountains, Snow, Rivers, Silk Road, and Tanzania Dive & Safari trips for outdoor learning and personal challenge.
Tashkent International School is a not-for-profit International Baccalaureate World School serving the city's diplomatic, international business, and resident communities. It offers the full IB continuum—PYP (preschool–Grade 5), MYP (Grade 6–10), and DP (Grade 11–12)—with English as the language of instruction and all students learning an additional language. The school is accredited by CIS and NEASC.
