Uniform and Dress Code are mandatory. General rules require modest, neat, solid-colored clothing with no rips, tears, or advertising; secondary students wear navy blue full-length pants or navy blue skirts (skirts knee-length); Grades 6–8 wear blue polo shirts and Grades 9–12 wear beige polo shirts, with collars visible. Only CIC sweatshirts may be worn; secondary PE is a red CIC T‑shirt with black shorts; Out-of-Uniform days are allowed for seniors on Fridays. Shoes should be appropriate for school; inappropriate items are restricted.
Private, non-profit day school governed by a Board of Directors. It operates in an English-medium environment and is Cognia-accredited and authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP).
Colegio Internacional de Caracas is a private, non-profit, co-educational day school in the Los Samanes hills of Caracas serving ages 2 to 18. It offers an American-style curriculum from Pre-Nursery to Grade 5, followed by the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (Grades 6–10) and the IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12). The school also awards a United States–certified graduating diploma. CIC is an IB World School and an early adopter of DP and MYP, with Cognia accreditation. Instruction is in English, with ESOL support for non-native speakers and multiple language options in the secondary grades. The campus features a turf football field, an outdoor dual-court area for basketball and volleyball, laboratories, a Library and Learning Center, a Maker Space, robotics and circuitry facilities, and a farm space. A robust college-preparatory program includes university counseling and online coursework, reinforced by project-based learning and activities such as SAMUN.
