An American-style international curriculum is offered from Pre-Nursery through Grade 5, then the IB Middle Years Program for Grades 6–10 and the IB Diploma Program for Grades 11–12. The program emphasizes project-based learning, critical thinking and communication, with interdisciplinary links that connect classroom work to real-world contexts. ESOL support is provided for non-native English speakers, and CIC offers online coursework as part of its comprehensive college-preparatory program.
Visual arts, music and drama are offered as part of the elementary and secondary curriculum. The arts are complemented by technology and physical education. The curriculum provides opportunities for creative projects and performance as part of the learning experience.
Spanish is taught as a native language and as a modern language, with additional language options available in the secondary school. The program supports multilingual communication and aims to prepare students to function with a global perspective.
From Grade 1, students participate in student government and school-wide decision making. Elementary students have after-school activities that provide enrichment. The secondary school hosts expanded student activities, including hosting the South American Model United Nations (SAMUN), sports competitions and volunteering opportunities across the country.
Community service and student outreach are integral to school life; every student participates in activities that give back to the broader community. Onalis Velasquez is the director responsible for these activities.

Colegio Internacional de Caracas is a private, non-profit, co-educational day school in the Los Samanes hills of Caracas serving ages 2 to 18. It offers an American-style curriculum from Pre-Nursery to Grade 5, followed by the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (Grades 6–10) and the IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12). The school also awards a United States–certified graduating diploma. CIC is an IB World School and an early adopter of DP and MYP, with Cognia accreditation. Instruction is in English, with ESOL support for non-native speakers and multiple language options in the secondary grades. The campus features a turf football field, an outdoor dual-court area for basketball and volleyball, laboratories, a Library and Learning Center, a Maker Space, robotics and circuitry facilities, and a farm space. A robust college-preparatory program includes university counseling and online coursework, reinforced by project-based learning and activities such as SAMUN.
