All students wear the school uniform from Monday to Friday. The uniform fosters discipline, respect, and a sense of belonging in the learning environment. Special exceptions apply during cultural celebrations and field trips to allow expression within the dress guidelines.
Horizon Kitchen provides daily breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks for Kindergarten and Primary, prepared on campus by on-site chefs. The menu includes Vietnamese, Korean, Western, and Indian dishes, with meals designed by nutritionists using fresh ingredients. Vegetarian dishes, halal meals, and allergen-conscious options are available.
The school assigns all students and staff to one of four Houses. Houses compete in academics, sports, arts, service, and citizenship, and are student-led with House Captains and committees. Older students mentor younger peers, and House points reward positive behaviors.
The Horizon Board of Directors runs the school, representing the interests of students, teachers, staff, and financial affairs. The Board develops and maintains the School's Vision, Mission, Standards, and strategic objectives, evaluates policies, and approves the annual budget, while regularly evaluating leadership capacity.
Horizon International Bilingual School – Hanoi Campus offers two main pathways: a Bilingual Programme combining the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training curriculum with the Cambridge International Curriculum and an International Programme following the Cambridge curriculum from Grade 1 (Year 2) to Grade 12 (Year 13). The campus on To Ngoc Van Street in Tay Ho District serves learners from roughly age 2 to 18, with Kindergarten and Early Learning as entry points. Horizon places strong emphasis on enrichment through a structured Reading Programme, a Laptop 1–1 programme, extra support classes for IGCSE, A/AS and IELTS, and student-led conferences that involve families in reviewing progress and setting goals. Family Sports Days, arts and athletics activities, clubs such as Robotics, Service Learning and Student Council add further opportunities beyond the classroom.
