The Olympia Schools traces its roots to the Dream House Educational System, founded in 2003. In 2007, Olympia expanded to add Primary and Middle school levels, and a new high school (formerly “Tri Viet”). In 2010 the name “The Olympia Schools” became the unified name for all general-education levels, and the campus moved to its current location in Nam Từ Liêm, Hanoi. Over the years, the school developed “experiential zones” outside Hanoi (such as a folk-culture space and survival-trial area) to support immersive learning.
The Olympia Schools hosts a variety of community and cultural events spanning academic, arts, and cultural exchange themes. Students participate in projects such as drama-based performances, including activities where primary students rehearse and perform with professional actors as part of literature and arts programmes.
The school also organises cross-cultural exchange events, for example exchanging with overseas or international schools, to broaden students’ cultural awareness.
The Olympia Schools does not publicly release information regarding any PTA. That said, the school regularly publishes news items aimed at families, such as including parent-oriented webinars related to scholarships and admissions, and events inviting parental involvement in school life.
The Olympia Schools, located in the Trung Văn New Urban Area of Nam Từ Liêm District, Hanoi, is a bilingual day school serving children from age 4 (kindergarten) up through Grade 12. Founded in 2003, it offers a strong Vietnamese national curriculum supplemented with international elements. Since 2022, The Olympia Schools has been authorised to deliver the IB Diploma Programme for its upper-secondary students. Teachers deliver instruction in both Vietnamese and English, supported by a large international staff. The school’s strengths include its commitment to STEM and scientific inquiry, an enriched academic environment via IB and bilingual learning, and a vibrant arts program under its Arts/Technology/Music (ATM) faculty. Students engage in research projects, creative arts, community and sustainability initiatives, and benefit from services such as school bus transport and school meals. With its mixture of rigorous academics, bilingual instruction, and varied extracurricular opportunities, Olympia provides a clear pathway for families seeking a globally minded education grounded in Vietnamese context.
