Westlink offers over 50 after-class activities and clubs spanning sports, arts, academic clubs, and community service. ECAs are delivered through three programmes: teacher-led ECAs, professional ECAs, and International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS) from ISP. ISP-supported options include ISP Artists, ISP Changemakers, ISP Chess Masters, ISP Cultural Exchange, ISP Scientists, ISP Filmmakers, ISP Virtual Exchange, and ISP Model United Nations.
Arts and performing arts are a core part of ECAs, including music, dance, theatre, and visual arts. Dedicated facilities support creative work, including a music room, a dance and drama studio, a performing arts room, a studio for recording and media production, and a visual arts room. ISP initiatives such as ISP Artists and ISP Filmmakers provide international opportunities in the arts.
English is the language of instruction; Vietnamese, Korean and Spanish are offered as additional languages through dedicated classes and extra-curricular clubs. Be immersed in a multilingual community where home languages are celebrated and language learning is supported through clubs and activities. Dedicated language programs and a range of language clubs enable students to develop multilingual proficiency.
ECAs include Chess Club, FIRST LEGO League, Football Developmental Team, Gymkids, Gymnastics, Robotics Fun, Spanish, Taekwondo, Vietnamese Art Club, and field trips. Westlink operates a House system with Lotus, Bamboo, Dragon and Buffalo, fostering inter-house competitions and teamwork. The school also runs Westlink Wolverines teams and other clubs that extend social and recreational interests.
Community service programs and volunteering opportunities are included in the ECA mix. These activities provide students with opportunities to contribute to local and international communities. Participation supports the development of social responsibility and empathy.
Westlink provides leadership opportunities through a range of ECAs, student leadership roles, and team-based activities. International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS) from ISP offer global project work that develops self-leadership and interpersonal skills. A Life Skills framework, backed by Cambridge University and Camtree, supports development of communication, digital fluency and self-leadership.
Facilities support wellbeing and sport, including an indoor Olympic-standard pool, a smaller training pool, a multi-purpose indoor hall, and dedicated spaces for music, dance, and arts. A LOTUS-certified green campus and climate-controlled spaces promote wellbeing and sustainable learning. Pastoral care, counselling services and social-emotional learning programmes are available to students.
Westlink International School Hanoi is an IB World School for the Primary Years Programme and a Candidate School for the Middle Years and Diploma Programmes, serving students aged 4–17. Located in Tay Ho Tay, the campus sits in a modern international neighbourhood with good access to Noi Bai International Airport and central Hanoi. Students can follow either the international IB pathway or a bilingual pathway that combines the Vietnamese MOET curriculum with a US core curriculum.
