International Christian School of Vienna is a private international Christian school in Austria with Öffentlichkeitsrecht status. It is accredited by ACSI and MSA and is an IB World School offering an American curriculum from age 5 through Grade 12 inclusive, with the IB Diploma Programme option for Grades 11–12. The curriculum is aligned with the CCSS, NGSS, and AERO to prepare students for US, Austrian, and international university study. The school serves about 320 students from more than 65 nationalities and is pursuing a state of the art facility to accommodate 500–600 students. The campus includes four science labs, laboratories and makerspaces, a library with digital resources, and learning commons with pullout rooms for nonnative English speakers and learners with challenges. Athletics facilities comprise a gymnasium, outdoor fields, a rooftop track, and spaces for afterschool sports. Danube International School Vienna (DISV) is an English-language IB World School in central Vienna for students aged 3 to 18. It offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 5–11, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for Grades 6–10, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11–12. Founded in 1992 by Mr. and Mrs. Biber, the school holds Öffentlichkeitsrecht and was Vienna's first fully accredited IB World School. The 10,000 m2 campus has bright classrooms, a bilingual English-German library, science laboratories, a dedicated theatre, a gymnasium, and a secure central playground. PE is supported by the nearby KSV complex, with ice skating and swimming for younger students, and rock climbing and martial arts for older students at nearby facilities. Residential trips for Grades 2–5 foster teamwork and resilience. Approximately 30 after-school activities weekly include drama, band, MUN, coding, and Service Learning, with Privately Taught Languages supporting multilingualism. Service learning remains central.
International Highschool Herzogberg is a bilingual IB World School in Perchtoldsdorf, outside Vienna. The school combines the Austrian Junior High curriculum (grades 7–9) with the IB Diploma Programme (grades 10–12), taught in English and German, with Spanish as additional subject. Class sizes are capped at 15 students, enabling close guidance and active participation. The junior high emphasizes health, creativity, education and economic understanding, while the high school focuses on Languages, Science and Art and Culture, culminating in a university entrance qualification through the IB. The campus sits on a 14,000 m2 site at the foot of the Vienna Woods, with a 960 m2 facility that includes classrooms, a laboratory, a workshop and leisure areas.
