1. Age eligibility. Aduvie requires age eligibility for each year group as of August. The age requirements are: Crèche 3 months to 1 year 6 months; Pre-K One Ruby 1 year 6 months; Pre-K Two Sapphire 2 years 6 months; K-Emerald 3 years 6 months; K-Tanzanite 4 years 6 months; Year One 5 years 6 months; Year Two 6 years 6 months; Year Three 7 years 6 months; Year Four 8 years 6 months; Year Five 9 years; Year Six 9 years 6 months; Year Seven 10 years; Year Eight 11 years. Most children are sixteen years old on average at graduation from the secondary school. The age requirements determine eligibility to sit the entrance examination.

2. Completing the application form. The application form is completed by the parent or guardian and signed, not by the child. The child's name should be entered as it should appear on all school records. A valid active e‑mail address is required to facilitate communication. The form is returned to the school's Administrative Office, and the Admissions Office will advise dates for the entrance test. The Secondary admission form costs N5,000 and can be purchased from the Aduvie International School Admin Office.

3. Application requirements / supporting documents. A Completed Registration Form must be submitted. Immediate Past Academic Records for the past two years are required for Secondary and Primary admissions, and the past one year for Nursery admissions. A copy of the child's birth certificate or data page of the international passport, four recent coloured passport photographs, English translations of non‑English records, a Medical report, Immunization records for Nursery, a photocopy of the parent's identity card, and two passport photographs of the parent are needed. If transferring from another school, provide the Transfer Certificate and a reference from the previous Principal.

4. Assessment. All applicants must sit the school's Placement Test, which lasts forty‑five minutes for nursery and primary and two and a half hours for the secondary placement test. The test assesses language, mathematics and General Paper (or relevant course subjects for higher classes) to diagnose strengths and determine next steps. Candidates should bring writing materials. Entrance tests are held every Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in Abuja, with additional testing sessions offered later subject to space.

5. Oral interview. A short interview is conducted for candidates who pass the placement test. The interview assesses the candidate's ability to communicate, personality traits and background information and clarifies expectations for both family and school. The school reserves the right to decline admission if capabilities or needs cannot be met.

6. Admission processing period. Aduvie's academic year runs from September to July. Applicants are encouraged to apply early. Admission is processed once all required documents are received. Upon offer, an acceptance is indicated by payment of a non‑refundable acceptance fee of N100,000 as part of the school fees.

7. Acceptance and registration. After admission is offered, the acceptance fee of N100,000 is payable and becomes part of the school fees.
