Emirates National School Sharjah is a private day school with separate Boys' and Girls' campuses in Sharjah. It delivers education under both US and UAE frameworks, following Colorado Academic Standards alongside UAE National Curriculum Standards. The school offers the IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) and the American Common Core in English, Math and Science, with AP courses available for grades 11 and 12. Two Diploma pathways are available: the American Curriculum with General and Advanced Tracks, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) or IB Certificates. The DP begins in grade 11, with TOK, Extended Essay and CAS core components, and placement guided by readiness and university plans. Language readiness and MAP scores determine Higher or Standard Level course placement. Athletics include basketball, rugby, martial arts, volleyball, soccer, swimming and track and field, depending on campus facilities. Gulf Asian English School in Sharjah operates a CBSE curriculum for students from KG1 to Grade 12, with separate blocks for boys and girls that create learning environments. Established in 1975 as Sharjah Montessori School, it evolved into a CBSE-affiliated high school by 1991 and gained CBSE affiliation in 1993. Sharjah Indian School is one of the largest Indian schools in the UAE, with a combined enrolment of nearly 14,000 students across two campuses. Founded in 1979 by the Indian Association Sharjah, the school follows the CBSE curriculum and is approved by the Sharjah Private Education Authority. The main campus in Juwaiza serves boys, while the Ghubaiba branch serves girls. With almost 600 teachers across both sites, the school provides a comprehensive education from primary through senior secondary level.
