St George's College Quilmes was founded in 1898 by Rev J. T. Stevenson in Quilmes. It has more than 125 years of history and began with six boarding students. The Old Georgian Club formed to preserve an enduring alumni network, and milestones included the Pavilion for King George V, the chapel cornerstone, and the Assembly Hall, along with the introduction of a house system. The school later opened the Primary School, expanded with a North campus to reach the Northern Zone, and became coeducational; today it serves over 850 students and offers a full-day programme with a mixed boarding system, blending international programmes with the national curriculum.
Fundraising, Fundación San Jorge, Old Georgian Club, and Alumni form part of the St George's College community. Fundación San Jorge coordinates charitable activities to support school initiatives. The Old Georgian Club connects alumni and maintains a network that endures across generations. An active Alumni program keeps former students engaged with the school, enriching current student experiences.
