Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

St. Paul's College was founded by Jane Anne Chinton in 1954 in Hurlingham, Argentina. It began in a house on O'Higgins 996 as a primary school with a bilingual schedule—Spanish mornings and English afternoons. By 1976, enrollment reached 125 students, and in 1978 the school moved to Garay 950, established the kindergarten El Bosque (later El Bosque de San Pablo), and opened the secondary section. A fire in 1995 destroyed the English-style house, but the school continued operating from the remaining spaces and administration moved to the adjacent building. In 2014 the school celebrated its 60th anniversary with year-long celebrations, and a new building was inaugurated in February 2015 as part of ongoing growth; the logo features a bicéfala eagle and the motto 'The Pursuit of Excellence'.

Community

St. Paul's College runs Proyecto Solidario as part of its community activities. It maintains an Old Paulines alumni network and publishes Anuarios Digitales (digital yearbooks). In 2014 the school celebrated its 60th anniversary with year-long celebrations, and a new building was inaugurated in February 2015 as part of ongoing growth.
