Guidance counselors manage student assessments, class placements, behavioural issues, academic guidance and university preparation. The school provides two guidance staff to support students in their journey at SJA and beyond. The House System (Kappa, Zeta and Theta) fosters community, inclusion and mutual respect across JK–12.
Learning support is available to assist students with academic or behavioural needs.
Instruction is primarily in English. English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are available for international students who require it. Two International Registration Packages exist: English-speaking international students; International + ESL for students who require ESL.

St. Jude's Academy is a private, non-denominational IB World continuum school in Mississauga, Ontario, offering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) JK–6, the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) 7–10, and the IB Diploma Programme (DP) 11–12, culminating in the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
