The school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Multilingual Languages (GIB). The GIB Diploma Programme was established in 2009, and the last IB inspection conducted in April 2022 involved interviews, document reviews and in-depth teaching analysis, resulting in the rating of 'completely satisfactory'. In 2024, monograph workshops are led by the coordinator, and CAS projects are carried out in the second semester for 2ºMedio; activities to further support the GIB programme include additional days for monograph, CAS and TdC to help 3ºMedio focus on these components, alongside PAES preparation.
The Musik Akademie was created in August 2022 to offer music lessons in small groups, including learning instruments and singing. Students can learn musical instruments and singing through Musik Akademie. The school has expanded cultural and sports activities (ACLE), strengthening opportunities in the arts and culture. There is also active ACLE participation in arts-related activities such as the Musik Akademie, and ACLE includes cultural offerings alongside sports.
German language classes are offered across levels with extra German subjects in German (sciences in 3rd–4th grade, physical education in 1st–2nd grade, music and art in all levels) and Deutsch plus support from 1st grade. English is a compulsory subject within the GIB programme. Plan de articulación between Kindergarten and 1.Klasse demonstrates formal language and cultural bridging as children transition into the school's German-language environment.
The school offers Learning through ACLE, providing opportunities for cultural and sports activities chosen by students. ACLE includes activities such as gymnastics, with a recent ACLE gymnastics team competing in ADICPA events. Students in different grades participate in cultural and sporting activities, including invitations to GIB fairs to introduce younger students to the programme. The Musik Akademie also forms part of ACLE, enriching social and creative life at the school.
The Diploma Programme includes Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS), with Service defined as volunteering and non-remunerated work for the community. CAS is complemented by the school's Equipo de Convivencia Escolar y Formación Integral (CEFI), which offers programs to manage stress and time and supports integral development. The school also provides informational sessions for parents and opportunities to share alumni experiences related to university studies.
The school features leadership and governance structures such as the Grupo Coordinador AQM and the Equipo de Convivencia Escolar y Formación Integral (CEFI), which coordinate school-wide actions and student well-being. Orientation Vocacional provides career guidance for students. The Centro de Alumnos (student council) offers student governance opportunities, and the school maintains career and leadership development content through its DAC and related programs.

Colégio Alemán de Concepción is a German international school serving students aged 3 to 18. It offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (GIB) alongside a German curriculum and a bespoke curriculum. The IB DP, taught since 2010, is delivered in Spanish, German and English, with Diploma students studying their mother tongue plus additional languages. The GIB core includes Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and CAS, and the six groups are Studies in Language and Literature (Spanish), Acquisition of Languages (German and English), Individuals and Societies (History in German), Sciences (Biology in German), Mathematics and Arts. The campus includes laboratories, arts and music spaces, a library with an online catalog, a dining hall and first aid.
