Languages taught: Spanish (mother tongue for GIB students), German, English. In the German program, the following examinations are offered: A1 (4th Basic), A2 (6th Basic), A2/B1 Sprachdiplom I (1° Medio), and B2/C1 Sprachdiplom II (4° Medio). The Sprachdiplom II certification, together with the PAES, enables study at any university in Germany. The Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD) is the German-language certificate for German language proficiency issued by Germany. English language exams include Cambridge PET (Preliminary English Test, level B1) in 1° Medio and Cambridge FCE (First Certificate in English, level B2) in 4° Medio; those who score more than 180 points on FCE reach level C1. These Cambridge exams are internationally recognized and facilitate admission to universities worldwide.
German language education is delivered within a bilingual framework. In preschool, German is taught under the bilingualism concept, with Montessori-based methods. Plan de articulación connects Kindergarten to 1.Klasse to ease the transition. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Multilingüe (GIB) is multilingual, and all Diploma students study Spanish as their mother tongue, along with German and English.

Colégio Alemán de Concepción is a German international school serving students aged 3 to 18. It offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (GIB) alongside a German curriculum and a bespoke curriculum. The IB DP, taught since 2010, is delivered in Spanish, German and English, with Diploma students studying their mother tongue plus additional languages. The GIB core includes Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay and CAS, and the six groups are Studies in Language and Literature (Spanish), Acquisition of Languages (German and English), Individuals and Societies (History in German), Sciences (Biology in German), Mathematics and Arts. The campus includes laboratories, arts and music spaces, a library with an online catalog, a dining hall and first aid. Extracurriculars include CAS and leadership through the Centro de Alumnos and CEFI, plus ACLE arts and Musik Akademie. In 2022 the GIB programme was rated satisfactory by IB inspectors, with CAS and monograph activities.
