The school offers robotics and programming as part of the after-school activities. Math Lab provides 1.5-hour sessions for Grades 6–8 to get support and enrichment in math. Humanities Lab offers a 1.5-hour open session where students in Grades 6–8 can get support for social studies, English, science, or other classes as needed. Model UN is a club in which students debate global issues in the UN framework, practicing debate and public speaking and researching the nations they represent, with several conferences held throughout the year that require leadership and collaboration.
The school offers private music lessons and musical theater as after-school activities. Robotics and programming are included among after-school offerings, along with pottery and painting. The arts program features a full-size auditorium, a black box theater, a music recording studio, filmmaking classes and competitions, and modern art studios.
Model UN is a club in which students debate global issues using the UN framework. In Model UN meetings, students practice debate and public speaking and research the nations they represent to learn about foreign policy, and they attend several conferences throughout the year that require leadership and collaboration. Tennis offers off-campus instruction in French, giving students a rich cultural experience and is listed as a French-language activity for younger students.
The school has over 60 clubs, including music, arts, performance, coding, science, Habitat for Humanity, Amnesty International, community service, and non-competitive sports. INK Magazine is ASP's student-led literary magazine with open-mic events and Paris expeditions. The Trebels is a student-run a cappella singing group.
Habitat for Humanity and Amnesty International are among ASP's service-oriented clubs. Service learning opportunities are integrated into the after-school program. The National Honor Society provides service-focused opportunities, with membership based on scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

A student council and related leadership opportunities are available as part of campus life.
The school fields over 30 competitive varsity and junior varsity teams across sports such as soccer, volleyball, cross country, track, basketball, swimming, and tennis. Non-competitive sports are also offered among the many after-school activities. Mindfulness is taught as a program, with Mindfulness sessions and Yoga offered after school, including Mini Yoga and Yoga for younger students.
American School of Paris is an independent international school outside Paris that serves students aged 3 to 18 with an American-based, standards-driven curriculum. Upper grades offer a choice of Advanced Placement (AP) courses or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, while all students earn an American high school diploma. The program is guided by Understanding by Design, with English as the primary language of instruction and mandatory French at varying levels. MAP testing supports student progress in Grades 3–8. The campus spans more than 12 acres and houses K3–12 in dedicated indoor and outdoor spaces just outside Paris. Facilities include Arts Link studios, Black Box Theater, a 350-seat Performing Arts Center, and Design and STEM Labs with 3D printers and robotics. Beyond academics, ASP offers broad after-school activities—from robotics and sports to Amnesty International and Model UN—alongside a strong music, arts, and service culture, all within a secure, gated environment.
