Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Pedagogy of Meaning® (Pédagogie du Sens®) guides Antonia International School's approach. Children are gifted with multiple talents, and the environment supports their personal growth with inclusive practices that adapt to neuro-typical and neuro-atypical learners (HPI, ADHD, DYS). The pedagogy enables complex thinking by focusing on relationships and uniting disciplines through an annual interdisciplinary project. It respects differences, encourages oral expression, and values the multiple intelligences of every child. The school provides a caring, rewarding environment to help each student reach their potential. Health and educational assistants are trained in Sens© Pedagogy to support learners.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Antonia School implements an inclusive Pedagogy of Meaning® that adapts to neuro-typical and neuro-atypical learners (HPI, ADHD, DYS) to help every child reach their full potential. The approach emphasizes individualized support within the school's multidisciplinary team.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Antonia International School is an independent, private bilingual school in Montpellier serving ages 2 to 18. It offers a complete curriculum from kindergarten to high school, combining French and English instruction and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in DP1 and DP2. The school uses Pédagogie du Sens, a holistic approach that integrates academic learning with creativity, well-being and social development. With more than 25 nationalities, AIS emphasizes inclusive pedagogy tailored to neuro-typical and neuro-atypical learners, including HPI, ADHD, and DYS. The curriculum includes bilingual French/English instruction, with a third language option (Spanish) and an introduction to Modern Greek. AIS is an Eco École and affiliated with UNESCO, offering Career guidance, university field trips and information sessions. Extracurriculars include piano and chess; after-school activities run 5:00–6:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for ages 3–10. Notable activities include the Étincelles Festival, color houses, Halloween, and a Festival of conviviality annually.
