Annual / per-term equivalents and billing detail (how the school bills)
- The published tariff is an annual, fixed price. Tuition is billed on a 10-month instalment basis when paid monthly. The monthly amount shown (EUR 975) is the instalment amount; annual equivalent = EUR 975 × 10 = EUR 9,750. This annual figure is calculated from the school's stated monthly instalment system (calculation provided here as a straightforward multiplication of the stated monthly instalment).
- Per-term (approximate) breakdown: if you allocate the annual amount to three school terms, the approximate per-term amount is EUR 3,250 (annual EUR 9,750 ÷ 3). The school's published contract treats the price as an annual fixed sum and does not list a formal per-term tariff; the per-term number above is an approximate allocation for budgeting purposes only.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Payment frequency: the school accepts annual payment or payment in ten monthly instalments (monthly instalments are payable in advance). For annual payment made before 15 September, a 5% reduction on the tuition amount is applied (not applicable to Mini-Club). Monthly instalments are normally collected according to the school's monthly schedule.
- Non‑resident families: a non‑refundable deposit equal to three months of tuition is required for families not domiciled in the region.
- Late or failed payments: a rejected direct debit or unpaid instalment leads to bank charges added to the invoice; repeated rejected instalments may result in suspension of direct debit and immediate exigibility of the balance. Failure to remedy a late payment can lead to contract termination after formal notice.
Fee payment options (accepted methods and practical notes)
- The school accepts bank transfers and direct debits (prélèvements). For transfers or direct debits from foreign banks, the ordering party bears any bank charges. After a rejected direct debit, payment must be made by cheque or in cash if requested by the school. These are the payment methods and administrative consequences specifically described in the school contract.
Boarding
- Boarding is not offered. The school operates as a day school with opening hours and extended day care (Baby Club / Mini-Club) rather than boarding provision.
Other compulsory or frequent additional costs
- Uniform / tablier: a school smock (tablier) is compulsory in maternelle and uniforms are compulsory in primaire. Uniforms and tabliers must be ordered through the school's designated supplier (Sofrenchschool); the supplier's site handles payment and sizing. Specific prices for uniforms are set by the supplier and are billed separately.
- School meals: occasional meal charges and refunds are defined (see refunds section below); the weekly menus and any special-diet arrangements are managed by the school. Additional per-activity club fees (robotics, chess, languages, sport classes, etc.) are charged separately to parents when applicable.
Refunds, cancellations and contract exit
- Registration and dossier fees are non‑refundable in all cases. The participation fee for school materials is refundable only if the registration is cancelled before 15 April. The school treats tuition as an annual fixed price; except for restaurant and mini‑club fees, annual tuition fees are generally due even if the pupil leaves during the school year, subject to limited exceptions (death, long-term illness, parental job-related mutation to another department, or other justified force majeure). When a pupil departs during the year, a two-month notice remains due unless otherwise agreed with the Direction. In case of absence for more than one week and supported by a medical certificate, school meal fees are refundable at EUR 4 per meal.
