Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Well-being is central to Montessori learning. Based on Montessori pedagogy, crèches and nursery schools enable each pupil to learn in an environment where progress respects the child's individual rhythm. In elementary and middle school, the emphasis is on well-being; an active pedagogy fosters students' self-confidence. The mission is to cultivate both individual and collective fulfillment, with the foundation that students are happy to come to school each morning.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The school teaches in English and French, with daily bilingual immersion in two languages and Cambridge exam preparation.

Mental Wellbeing

Montessori pedagogy supports mental wellbeing. Well-being is emphasised across the school; an active pedagogy fosters self-confidence. The aim is to cultivate fulfillment for individuals and the community; the foundation is that students are happy to attend every morning.

Esclaibes International Schools is a bilingual, Montessori-inspired network in France for ages 0 to 16. The curriculum combines Montessori pedagogy with a French curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE preparation, with daily learning in two languages taught by international teachers. The schools serve a global student community and accommodate more than 40 nationalities across six campuses in Paris (8th, 15th and 16th arrondissements), Clichy, and Marseille (12th and 7th). A Montessori preschool program is offered in Paris 16 and Paris 8, with warm, multilingual environments and hands-on learning. Cambridge exam preparation forms part of the program, supporting students through primary and early secondary years. Extra opportunities include Wednesday Workshops and Holiday Workshops, as well as Little Artist sessions and other arts- and culture-themed activities such as The Great Imagination Journey. Facilities feature large classrooms, private courtyards, outdoor playgrounds and spaces designed to support bilingual immersion and international education across these campuses today.
