Hattemer Bilingue is a private school in Paris offering a bespoke bilingual program in French and English from early years to elementary. It follows a Cambridge Primary framework, with English instruction beginning in maternelle. In the early years, about half the lessons are in English; in elementary, students receive 1 hour 30 minutes of English per day. By Grande Section, learners understand and express themselves in both languages, complemented by a music program. The Hattemer method rests on four pillars: confidence in each child's abilities, explicit knowledge transmission, rigorous deep learning, and recognition of effort and enjoyment. A weekly Grand Cours strengthens writing and speaking, and the curriculum adds extra hours in mathematics and French. From Seconde onward, families choose between bilingual and international tracks; the latter leads to the IB diploma, with IELTS included and university counseling. Hattemer operates across two campuses and joined the EIB network in 2026.
