Facilities Overview

Hattemer Bilingue operates on two Paris campuses. The Paris 8th Campus is located at 52, rue de Londres, Paris 75008, and serves children from 3 to 10 years old in nursery and elementary. The school provides a bilingual English-French environment, with 50% of nursery lessons taught in English and 1 hour 30 minutes of English per day starting in elementary, with class sizes of 18–21 students. The Hattemer Bilingue 16th Campus opened at 43, rue Decamps, Paris 75116, in 2017; in September 2025 Hattemer Bilingue 16e became EIB Trocadéro, a bilingual primary school within the EIB Paris network. A future change is planned: from September 2026 the 8th arrondissement campus will become EIB Wagram, a bilingual primary school within the EIB Paris network.

Sports Facilities

Hattemer Bilingue offers after‑school sports programs, including fencing (_escrime_), rugby initiation for younger students, and judo. These activities are part of the after‑school offerings and are listed in the extracurricular catalog for the 2025–2026 year.

Academic Facilities

Hattemer Bilingue uses the Hattemer teaching method, built on four pillars: confidence in each child's abilities, explicit and progressive transmission of knowledge, academic rigor with deep learning, and recognition of effort and enjoyment of learning. The school emphasizes a bilingual environment with early English exposure; 50% of nursery classes are conducted in English and elementary students receive 1 hour 30 minutes of English per day. The program promotes mastery of French, mathematics and English, and includes a weekly Grand Cours in Elementary. The school presents itself as providing an exclusive teaching method designed to foster a strong foundation across core disciplines and to develop curiosity beyond the classroom.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Hattemer Bilingue offers more than 20 extracurricular activities. The activities catalog (2025–2026) includes coding, robotics, chess, music, theatre in English, arts and crafts, and various sports. The schedule includes a Wednesday program (Hattemer Wednesday) with activities from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and each activity typically lasts one hour. The program also features individual instrument lessons (piano, violin, guitar) offered as paid sessions, and group activities such as acting, singing, and English language projects.

Hattemer Bilingue is a private school in Paris offering a bespoke bilingual program in French and English from early years to elementary. It follows a Cambridge Primary framework, with English instruction beginning in maternelle. In the early years, about half the lessons are in English; in elementary, students receive 1 hour 30 minutes of English per day. By Grande Section, learners understand and express themselves in both languages, complemented by a music program. The Hattemer method rests on four pillars: confidence in each child's abilities, explicit knowledge transmission, rigorous deep learning, and recognition of effort and enjoyment. A weekly Grand Cours strengthens writing and speaking, and the curriculum adds extra hours in mathematics and French. From Seconde onward, families choose between bilingual and international tracks; the latter leads to the IB diploma, with IELTS included and university counseling. Hattemer operates across two campuses and joined the EIB network in 2026.
