The school welcomes children from 20 months and up to 9 years old, with a plan to welcome up to 12 years old starting in 2022. It is organized into three classes: Our children's community (2–3 years), Our Children's House (3–6 years), and Our Elementary Class (7+ years). Montessori pedagogy guides learning, with children engaging in language, writing, mathematics, geometry, geography, history, science, and arts using age-appropriate materials; older students work on reading and more advanced mathematics as they progress. In the elementary class, all core subjects are taught with projects in groups and through Montessori materials designed for that age group, including sport, civics, and media literacy taught in English.
An art table and musical instruments are present in every class. Montessori materials support artistic exploration across ages, with art and creative activities integrated into daily learning.
The school is bilingual, with English-speaking educators in each class. English is used for certain subjects and activities, including civics and media literacy in the elementary class, and English-language garden sessions are conducted weekly. The program emphasizes multilingual learning through Montessori approaches and a bilingual teaching team.
Extracurricular offerings include an evening daycare from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with annual registration and a per-evening fee. Wednesday daycare is available with its own pricing, and the school benefits from outings and sporting activities in the local district, including partnerships with the Equestrian Center of La Villette and Archereau gymnasium.
The school emphasizes ecological awareness, including an educational garden where children plant and learn about botany and horticulture, with gardening sessions conducted in English. Body awareness sessions occur every Friday, and meals are provided by a caterer that serves mainly organic produce. The premises are large (280 m2), bright, and warmed by south-facing views, with access to two shared gardens, supporting a healthy and engaging learning environment.
International School Montessori Jeunes Pousses offers a bilingual Montessori education in Paris for children from 20 months to 12 years. The program follows Maria Montessori's philosophy, guiding children to explore, reflect and discover at their own pace, with materials supporting reading, writing, mathematics, geometry, geography, science and arts. In the early years, mixed-age groups are supported by two educators per class, one French-speaking and one English-speaking, with full-time English-speaking assistants to reinforce language immersion. The school's 280-square-metre premises are arranged as three classrooms and two shared gardens, prioritizing an orderly, welcoming environment and garden-based learning. A strong emphasis on ecology runs through the curriculum: a vegetable garden, composting and waste sorting, and partnerships for permaculture and beehives; meals emphasize organic ingredients where possible. The setting offers pony-riding sessions, gym activities, and cultural visits, with English-language components in civics and media literacy for older students, and daily garden sessions in English.
