WE RESiST (We Rethink Environmental Sustainability in Schools Together) is an Erasmus+ project to encourage responsible citizenship and climate action in schools. The project involves Lab School Paris and Labyrinth Brno and aims to promote active citizenship, raise climate awareness and build research, communication and practical skills. It includes project weeks, monthly webinars and outputs such as a documentary, a research survey and published findings.
Through WE RESiST, high school students develop leadership, initiative and teamwork by planning and executing projects. They gain research, communication and practical skills, for example by producing a documentary and conducting climate-related research, with participation in webinars and collaboration with other schools. The initiative aims to foster skills essential for democratic, collaborative work and civic engagement.
Happiness at School Week promotes well-being within the school community and has been associated with a wealth of practical activities. The 2025 edition features an updated activity booklet for kindergarten through high school and video testimonials highlighting classroom practices. A day-care service is available for enrolled students, and after-school workshops provide safe, structured activities outside of class.
Lab School Paris is a bilingual secular school in France serving students from CP to 2nde, with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme offered in Première and Terminale. English and French are the languages of instruction, and the school follows the French curriculum while emphasizing social and emotional development and student autonomy. Classes are organized in double level groups such as CP and CE1, CE2 and CM1, CM2 with about fifteen pupils per level and roughly thirty per class, to support collaboration and individual attention. The pedagogy blends influences from Montessori, Freinet, Dewey, Neill, and Steiner, and draws on current research in education, psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and anthropology. There are two campuses, Paris and Montreuil, with co teaching and a supervision ratio of one teacher for fifteen students.
