Two ISS campuses are located in the Stuttgart region: Degerloch Campus at Sigmaringer Str. 257, 70597 Stuttgart, Germany; and Sindelfingen Campus at Hallenser Str. 2, 71065 Sindelfingen, Germany. Degerloch offers the IB Diploma Programme for Grades 11–12 and serves ages 3–18, while Sindelfingen serves ages 3–10. A newly inaugurated Upper School campus in Degerloch opened in August 2024. The school operates as a private, non-profit institution.

- An application fee of €750 is payable for each applicant.
One‑time capital/registration fee
- A one‑time, non‑refundable fee of €9,000 is charged per student. Installment options are available for this one‑time fee.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Families are billed through the school's family/admissions portal; the Finance Department issues invoices and notifies families by email. Payment instructions and deadlines are issued on invoices. Direct debit collection is available if families provide consent. Payments for activity‑specific programs may be issued separately.
- The listed tuition amounts are expressed as annual fees. Per‑term figures above are calculated by dividing the annual amount by three to match the school's academic terms. Boarding
- The school operates as a day school; there are no boarding provisions or boarding fees.
Other costs and typical additional fees
- Lunch / meal plans: A daily lunch program and meal‑plan options are available; lunch costs are charged separately from tuition.
- Physical Education uniform: No full school uniform requirement, but a PE uniform is required; related purchase costs are additional.
- After‑school activities and sports (ASAP, GISST, Sportverein): Fees for after‑school clubs, sports teams and camps are charged in addition to tuition; invoices for these activities are issued via the family portal. Sportverein payments use bank transfer instructions supplied by the school.
- Private instrumental lessons: Private lessons are paid directly to the individual teacher. Typical private lesson rates (examples given by program): 30‑minute individual lesson — €1,050 per year (approx., paid as monthly instalments of €105); 45‑minute — €1,520 per year (approx., monthly instalments of €152); 60‑minute — €2,000 per year (approx., monthly instalments of €200). An annual administration fee of €20 for private lesson contracts is payable to the school.
- Instrument hire: Instruments are not provided for hire by the school; external hire suppliers are identified and hire costs are additional.
Refunds and cancellation
- The one‑time capital/registration fee is explicitly non‑refundable. Other refund or cancellation rules vary by item: program‑specific cancellation and refund policies (for after‑school activities, private lessons, camps and similar services) apply and are handled under each program's terms; invoices and the Finance Department specify payment due dates and any direct‑debit arrangements.
Fee payment options

Founded in 1985, the International School of Stuttgart (ISS) Degerloch campus serves students from age 3 to 18 through the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. The campus recently expanded with a new facility in August 2024 that centers on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), featuring dedicated makerspaces and scientific laboratories. In the Early Years "Nest," children follow an inquiry-based model influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach, utilizing dedicated outdoor learning areas and gardens. ISS emphasizes service learning, notably through its student-led KIVA micro-financing program which supports global entrepreneurs. The school provides a bus service for the regional community and offers language instruction in German, French, and Spanish. Classes are historically capped at 16 students to ensure individual attention.
