Enrichment and Extension: Through additional learning opportunities, students are encouraged to explore scientific and mathematical phenomena in greater depth. Within all year groups, selected students participate in special interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular competitions. In 2025, Phorms Primary School was recognised as a STEM-Friendly School, reflecting a strong emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Since 2025, the school has held a Digital School award, reflecting the thoughtful integration of digital education to support academic development.
Music and Movement: Music plays an important role in early education. In PhorMinis Kindergarten, a music teacher leads weekly musical activities in addition to daily songs, clapping, and movement. The Kindergarten features a well-stocked library that supports language development and imaginative learning. Movement is incorporated into daily routines through physical activities and exercise.
Bilingual teaching: Approximately 60% of lessons are taught in English and 40% in German. In Years 1–2, an English-speaking class teacher leads the main subjects, with German writing introduced from Year 1. In Years 3–4, a German-speaking class teacher prepares students for secondary school, and HSU is taught in German with increasing focus on German culture and geography.
All-day community: The campus is open from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, providing a space for discovery, experience, and connection beyond formal lessons. A low student-to-teacher ratio supports cross-curricular, cross-classroom teamwork and projects that foster collaboration. Through enrichment and extension, students participate in interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular competitions that broaden learning beyond the classroom.
Parental engagement: The Parents' Council represents families and is an active part of the Phorms community. The leadership team meets monthly with elected parent representatives to support educational processes and help organise celebrations and events.
Leadership team: The Primary School is led by a Head of Primary School and a Deputy Head of Primary School, supported by a Primary School Assistant. Each primary class is taught and supported by two teachers, one native German speaker and one native English speaker, ensuring bilingual instruction.
Safe and welcoming environment: The school emphasizes joyful learning, with differentiated teaching methods to support every student. The all-day campus hours and bilingual learning environment promote routines, well-being, and social development for children. The campus fosters curiosity, creativity, and a sense of belonging through its language-rich, collaborative approach.
