Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school implements emotional wellbeing as the foundation of education for the future. Mental Health Unplugged: Stories, Chats, and Laughs — a talk show designed to raise awareness, encourage sharing personal experiences, and reduce stigma around mental health through stories and humor. The session combines professional insights, personal stories, and humor to spark open and meaningful conversations about emotional wellbeing and its role in student success.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Occasionally, students needing support in English may be required to attend English as an Additional Language (EAL) classes instead of following a third language course. In other MYP disciplines, English is used as the language of communication.

Mental Wellbeing

The school hosts mental health initiatives to raise awareness and build resilience, including events like Mental Health Unplugged to promote discussion and reduce stigma around mental health.

Sinarmas World Academy is a co-educational international school in Tangerang, Indonesia, offering a blend of Cambridge and International Baccalaureate programs. The school opens with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage and then uses Cambridge Primary in the early years, followed by Cambridge Secondary. In Grades 6–8, Cambridge CAIE content is integrated within the IB Middle Years Programme, and the school prepares students for the IB Diploma Programme, IGCSE, and the IB DP. Language and culture programs include Mandarin and Indonesian, with exclusive student exchange partnerships such as with Peking University Elementary School. Established in 2008, the campus is organized into sections for Whole School, Early Years & Elementary, and Middle & High School. Facilities span a swimming pool, theatre, Music Studio, Dance Studio, Arts Studio, science laboratories, a Chinese Culture Centre, library, and workshops, supported by dedicated spaces for science, ICT, and arts to foster hands-on learning.
