The Cambridge IGCSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme are the curricular paths. The Diploma includes Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay, embedded within the IB framework.
The Pio X International offers a four-year program divided into two biennial curricula: Cambridge IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). All subjects are taught in English by IB-certified teachers, with Italian, Religion and a Foreign Language taught in their respective languages. At the end of each biennium, students take an exam in every subject; at the end of four years they earn the IB Diploma. The Diploma is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education for equivalence to the state diplomas in language, science or human sciences; the IB program includes Creativity, Activity and Service, Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay.
Collegio Vescovile Pio X International is a program within Collegio Pio X, a Catholic college in Italy, for students aged 14 to 18. The four‑year path integrates the Cambridge IGCSE in the first two years and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) in the final two years, with examinations at end of each biennium. Most subjects, except Italian, religion and foreign language, are taught in English by IB‑certified teachers; the curriculum includes Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS), Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and the Extended Essay (EE) as core IB components. The campus features a six‑metre Planetarium, an observatory and solar observatory, plus a library and a daily canteen approved by ULSS 2. The program aims to develop a learner profile: Caring, Communicators, Knowledgeable, Inquirers, Open‑minded, Reflective, Thinkers, Balanced, Risk‑takers, Principled. At graduation, students earn the IB Diploma with official Italian Ministry recognition, enabling university access worldwide and in Italy.
