The International School of Verona offers CAS activities for students both at school and in the local community. By the time students are ready for the IB Diploma they will have studied at least five languages, including English, Italian, Latin, Chinese, and German or Spanish. The International School of Verona is a private day school in Italy offering an international curriculum. It combines the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB DP) with Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge Secondary programs, taught in English in a scuola paritaria setting. The five-year program leads to the IB Diploma after completing Cambridge IGCSEs in year three. Students study Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, IT, English Language and Literature, Italian Language and Literature, Latin, Chinese, German or Spanish, plus Business Studies, History, Geography, Philosophy, Physical Education, Visual Art and Art History. The school emphasises language learning, and by graduation many students study five languages; it is a Confucius Class School for Chinese language and culture.
