The entries below list every typical fee category requested and state whether a specific amount or detailed schedule is published; where the school has published policy-language about a fee category this is stated.

Application / Admissions fee
- Not publicly listed: there is no published amount for an application or admissions fee available in the school's public pages. Any application or enrolment fee amount is not published for 2026/27 or 2025/26.

Tuition fees by year group (per term / per year)
- Not publicly listed by amount: the school identifies the served levels (Maternal, Kínder, Primaria, Secundaria, Preparatoria) but does not publish per-term or per-year tuition amounts for any grade. No numeric tuition schedule by year group or term is available on the school's public pages for 2026/27 or 2025/26.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Monthly billing referenced: the school's rules/regulations language refers to a monthly tuition payment ("colegiatura mensual") and mentions an annual materials fee for art/special projects, indicating tuition is collected on a recurring/monthly basis. The precise billing calendar (number of payments per academic year or per-term amounts), invoice due dates, accepted late-payment penalties, and installment options are not published.

Boarding / residential fees (if applicable)
- No boarding program indicated: the school describes itself as serving maternal through bachillerato (day-school educational levels) and does not list dormitories or boarding services; therefore no boarding fees are published or applicable in public materials.

Other costs and recurring charges
- Annual materials / project fees: the school's regulation language specifically references an annual materials fee for Art and Special Projects; no public numeric amount is provided.
- Extracurricular / academy charges: the school runs multiple academies and extracurricular programmes (music, sports, robotics, languages, etc.). Specific programme fees, per-activity charges, or instrument/activity rental fees are not published.

- Transportation, lunches, examinations, certification, or technology fees: no public fee amounts for transport, meals, external exam fees, IB/other certification fees or technology contributions are published.

Refund information
- Not publicly listed: no public statement of a numeric refund policy (amounts refundable, deadlines for refunds, or pro‑rata calculations) is published for admissions, deposits, tuition or extras in the school's public materials.

Fee payment options and methods
- Not publicly listed: explicit published payment methods (credit card, direct-debit, bank transfer, cash, online payment portal) and the ability to pay by instalments are not shown in public pages. Contact information for the administration is provided for billing and payment enquiries.

Summary of what is and is not available
- What is available publicly: confirmation of the school's educational levels, campus information and general references to policies that indicate a monthly tuition structure and an annual materials fee for art/projects.
- What is not available publicly: any numeric fee amounts (application, per-term or per-year tuition by grade, boarding fees, uniform costs, transport/lunch/extracurricular charges, refund tables, and specific payment-method instructions) for the 2026/27 or 2025/26 academic years are not published on the school's public pages.

Administrative contact for fee and billing enquiries
- The school's published contact details (phone, WhatsApp and email) are provided for obtaining precise, current numeric fee schedules, billing calendars, payment-method instructions and refund rules. Use the school's admissions/billing contact to request the official fee schedule for a given academic year.
Academics

American School Foundation of Chiapas teaches IB (DP), American Curriculum for students aged 2 to 18.

Curriculum

ASFC Model divides education into Lower School (Maternal, Kindergarten, Primary G1–G5) and Upper School (Secondary G6–G8, Preparatory G9–G12). ASFC follows the International Baccalaureate framework, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and working toward accreditation for the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). The IB framework emphasizes inquiry, intercultural understanding, multilingualism, and internationally aligned standards. The IB philosophy guides teaching across all programs, and digital learning is integrated across the curriculum using Google Classroom and MAP assessments. MAP measures performance and growth in four areas: mathematics, English reading, Spanish reading, and English language usage.

Higher Education Progression

ASFC maintains strong local, national, and international university connections to support graduates pursuing higher education worldwide. National partnerships include UDLAP, IBERO, ITAM, UPAEP, ELDP, UNIVA, EBC, ANAHUAC, and VATEL, with additional options. International partnerships include DBU (Dallas Baptist University), BHMS (Business & Hotel Management School) in Lucerne, VATEL, and Arkansas State University, Campus Querétaro. The school hosts an annual University Fair to showcase partner programs, and some offer scholarships or admission benefits to ASFC graduates. The Arkansas State University partnership provides dual degrees valid in the United States and SEP validation, the option to study on the U.S. campus for one year at Mexican prices, and English-taught courses taught by international faculty, with scholarships up to 50% for ASFC graduates. ASFC also hosts international exchanges for summers or school years and welcomes international students; it participates in DBU's Global Community Partnership to offer college credits while in high school and maintains collaborations with Utah State University and Northeastern State University for student teaching experiences.

Wellbeing

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

ASFC is a multicultural educational community that fosters a love of learning and develops creative, principled citizens through critical thinking, research, and collaboration. The IB program aims to form compassionate, globally minded students who strive to contribute to a better, more peaceful world, with mutual understanding and intercultural respect. Learning is student-centered, action-based, and connected, guided by best practices and values. The school emphasizes collaborative, reflective learning that supports students' social and emotional growth and global citizenship.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

ASFC develops multilingual students as part of its IB framework. MAP measures performance in mathematics, English reading, reading in Spanish, and English language use, with an adaptive format that adjusts difficulty based on student responses.

Mental Wellbeing

ASFC supports mental wellbeing through its values-based, supportive environment and focus on integrity, respect, and collaboration, fostering compassion and resilience as students engage with local and global contexts.
