The Colegio Alemán de Guadalajara is a Mexican–German, trilingual and secular school serving students from kindergarten through Bachillerato. The curriculum combines a bespoke program with the International Baccalaureate (IB DP) for Grades 10–12, and it includes Cambridge certificates and DSD I/II language qualifications. German is a core language across the curriculum, with formal language instruction, and English is introduced in Grade 5. The school emphasizes German-language and bilingual education within a 15‑year educational project and maintains links to the Network of German Schools Abroad (Deutsche Auslandsschulen). Facilities include a library, a health service with two nurses and a full‑time paramedic, and a swimming pool. The Colegio Aleme1n Guadalajara is a Mexican-German, trilingual and secular school. Kindergarten (KI-KIII) uses a playful, active methodology drawing on High-Scope, Kikus and SEP, with initiation to German. Primary (Grades 1D6) uses a differentiated pedagogy with formal literacy instruction, continuing German and introducing English in Grade 5. Secondary (Grades 79) reinforces German in the curriculum and offers the first language certification, with a suggested exchange to Germany. Bachillerato (Grades 1012) follows the International Baccalaureate framework and includes Cambridge certificates, DSD I and DSD II, and the IB Diploma, along with elective courses in the arts and business. Kindergarten admissions follow a structured process. Pre-registration is completed by filling the pre-registration form for new enrollment in the designated form. New families (those without any child enrolled or where a parent is a former student) should register with Monica Ponce for the information breakfast. An appointment for an interview with the school psychologist and the kindergarten principal is arranged. Submit the complete documentation on the day of the interview. The admission decision for the 2025-2026 school year will be communicated by email in March 2025. For new admissions, documents include: admission application; copy of birth certificate; copy of CURP; medical certificate; four color photographs (2.5 x 3.0 cm); original and copy of the enrollment processing fee of $1,500.00 (non-refundable); proof of no debts with the previous school (for transfers only); motivation letter; letter of recommendation from a family connected to the school (not required for families with enrolled children); proof of employment of a parent or guardian; a copy of the guardian's ID. Forms provided by the school include: medical form; development report (to be filled during the interview at the school); confirmation of compatibility; bank details for paying the enrollment processing fee.
