Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

New Student Admissions Process: If you are interested in starting admissions at Colegio El Camino, contact the Admissions department to request an informational meeting, noting that admission is subject to space availability. You will learn in detail about the educational programs, the admissions and enrollment processes, the documentation required, and the costs. Step 2: Schedule an appointment for the admissions exam. You must fill out an admissions form, providing information for the evaluator. The form collects data to support the evaluation. Step 3: The psychologist will deliver the results of the admissions exam during a pre-scheduled appointment. Step 4: If the admissions process is completed satisfactorily, enrollment will begin. To enroll, fill out the enrollment form, submit the documentation previously requested, make the payments, sign the School Regulations, Policies and Service Contract, and receive information about supplies and uniforms. In addition, usernames and passwords for the platforms and cafeteria will be generated. Documentation includes a copy of the birth certificate, a copy of the CURP, a copy of the vaccination card, four passport-sized photographs, a letter of no debt from the previous school, and SEP report cards (which vary by grade level). For further information, the Cabo San Lucas location is Callejón del Jorongo

210, Col.

Colégio El Camino is a private, coeducational day school in Mexico offering the International Baccalaureate continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) along with a bespoke curriculum. The school serves preschool through high school and culminates in the Diploma Programme. The PYP is bilingual, with 50% instruction in Spanish and 50% in English, using six transdisciplinary units of inquiry and integrated specialists in Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts, and Technology. The MYP, authorized in March 2023 for grades 7–9, emphasizes inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary study and Approaches to Learning, with courses offered in both languages. The DP, implemented since 2016, offers six subject groups with Standard or Higher Level courses and core components—Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essays, and CAS—alongside university guidance for Mexico and abroad. Facilities include classrooms, a library, high-speed internet, interactive whiteboards, an indoor shaded soccer field, a shaded outdoor court, and two playgrounds; a future Art and Athletic Center is planned.
